Malissa Leigh Yanew

Tribute

The family of Malissa Leigh Yanew sadly announce her unexpected passing in her home on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 51 years young.

Malissa was born to Wayne and Mary Yanew in Edmonton, Alberta on September 3,1965.  She is survived by her spouse,  Dean Campbell, her children,  step children, grandchildren and step grandchildren; Nathalie (Kevin) and kids – Edward, Gavin, Virginia and Paul;  Leslie (Ryan) and kids – Mason, JJ and Simon, Even and kids – Emma, Amy (Jason) and kids – Liam and Alexis, Robert (Karen), Chantel (Randy) and kids – Mariah and Ryley, and their kid Jessie (Kaisha).  She also leaves her mother Mary and brother James (Jennifer) and kids – Jayden and Jalaina.

Malissa enjoyed long days at the beach, fishing and boating, She loved camping with her father when she was young, a love she passed on to her own children.  She also loved to spend time with her family and friends and especially looking out for all the children she was around. Meeting Dean was perfect. . . . he lived in Moyie, BC and she was able to live in the bush by the lake for the rest of her life ~ and oh how her kids and grandkids loved to visit her in the summer.   

Malissa was predeceased by her father Wayne Yanew and her younger brother Lance Yanew.
