Mark Memorial Community Funeral Home is an independently owned, full service funeral home. For over 30 years we have served families in Cranbrook, Kimberley, Fort Steele and surrounding communities from Creston to Radium Hot Springs and Golden.

 


Our burial and cremation services honor people of all beliefs, traditions and cultures. We are committed to compassionate personal service and strive to earn the trust that families have placed in us as we care for them and their loved ones.

Lorraine Flint,
Licensed Funeral Director
Lorraine began her career in the funeral industry at Fort Macleod, Alberta.  She was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and graduated from the Western School of Funeral Service at Mount Royal College in 1999. Lorraine has managed Mark Memorial Community Funeral Home for the past 9 years.Lorraine is married to Dan for over 30 years and has 3 children and 3 grand children. She loves the outdoors and invests her spare time with family and friends going on hikes, boating and fishing.

 

Edward Stairs,
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer
Ed has been an employee of Mark Memorial Community Funeral Home since 1984. He came to Cranbrook from Penticton and has been serving area communities since that time.

Ed is very active in the Gizeh Shrine Club, Elks Club and the annual Legion Poppy Campaign.  Ed technically retired in 2010 but is still an active part of the business in Cranbrook.
