Robert Joseph Duthie

Tribute

Robert Joseph Duthie passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Monday, March 13th at the age of 85 years.  Bob was born on December 2, 1931 in Fernie, BC to Bill and Anna Duthie.

Bob leaves behind his beloved sons; Rob (Leanne), Don (Sue) and  Tim (Rae) as well as his grandkids Marnie (Scott), Dawneen (Brad), Jen, Dacon (Sandy), Saulene (Mike), Casey, Christopher (Renee), Benjamin, and 7 great grand kids  Bob was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Anne and sister, Lorraine.

Bob was an active member of the Lion’s Club for over four decades.  He played in many bands and shared his love of music.  He loved golfing, fishing, curling, bowling, gardening and tinkering in his shop, as well as enjoying time with family and friends.  Bob had an incredible sense of humor and volunteered endless hours at the Food Bank.  Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

A Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Alliance Church. 

In lieu of flowers please support the local Lion’s Club at Box 225 Main Post Office, Cranbrook, BC  V1C 2N1.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com
