Bill was an avid fisherman and loved his time spent on the lakes and rivers in the area. Bill also really enjoyed travelling and did a lot of travel over his lifetime. Through his travels, he met his wife, Sol in Brazil at the famous carnivals that are held there. Bill and Sol met in Brazil in 2005 and married on October 13, 2007. Bill, we have been friends for 50 years, went to trade school together and were work partners for years. We grew and learned together through all those years, doing the things that were important to us and sharing the memories. I will be there for Sol and your boys to help where i can to get them thru this loss. Hope you can now enjoy a Coke and a Smoke and we will see you on the other side… Brad

Relation: worked with Bill
I met Bill when I started at the Elko mill in 1985, Bill was a person who worked hard and never shied away from any job put before him. When I had opportunity to work with him on shift it was always an adventure because when you asked Bill about his scuba diving trips he was so passionate it was like you were there with him.
Some days Bill would show up for work with all that crazy hair going every which way and he would always have a smoke in one hand and a coke in the other and I would swear he just climbed out of bed.
Bill lived the single life and would cook up his signature grilled cheese sandwich for lunch at work. Well that all changed when Bill met and married Sol, as she would send him, to work with a meal. Bills family meant the world to Bill !
Calling the millwright Shop, and Bill would answer with his gruff tone “GO AHEAD” will be missed!!
RIP Bill
