Wes was a retired RCMP officer who was stationed throughout British Columbia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, refinishing and repairing rifles. He loved dogs, especially hunting hounds, and watching rodeo. Talking to his grandchildren and great granddaughter lit up his days. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, fairness and being supportive and the voice of reason for his family. He leaves a huge hole in our family that words really cannot express.
A luncheon will be held to honor Wes on Saturday October 11th, 2025 from 11:30 to 3:30pm at the Sparwood Community Hall 367 Pine Avenue, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Stars in Wes’s name.

Relation: Fellow mountie….good friend
I am greatly saddened at the loss of a troop mate, fellow mountie and good friend. We were both young men from Alberta when we boarded a flight to Regina to start our adventures with the Force. 47 years later found us residing in the same community, reconnecting and enjoying each others company. You will be miss Wes……
