Sending love and respects today for Tom’s family, friends, and Sue. May you rest in peace Tom. You are not gone, just moved on… you will live in the hearts of many.
From: Dennis & Sheila Temple
Relation: School class-mate, late 1950's, hunting & fishing partner & friend for 60 years.
Although you may be gone to the Great Hunting & Fishing Lodge in the sky, the many memories of the different outings and trips we had will never be forgotten. From the 45 mile bicycle trip as 12-13 year old’s to the many hunting & fishing and outdoor recreational trips we had. You may have passed on but the memories will live on with me until I also pass on and hope to meet you in the Great Lodge in the Sky. Farewell Tom
From: Bob and Hanne Hoogstins
Relation: Teenage friend, Usher at our wedding, motorcycling and hunting and fishing friend.
Farewell Tom. Our paths have not crossed in many years but you certainly were a big part of our younger years. Riding our motorcycles when we were teenagers, you were a usher at our wedding all dressed up in a white tuxedo, and many hunting and fishing trips to the Kootenays and especially the long drive to Thunder Mountain near Dawson Creek. Shooting you black powder gun was really fun. Great times that will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.
From: Linda Fredrickson
Relation: Sister
Tom was my big brother and my hero. To me, being five years younger, he seemed so adventurous and daring. He was larger than life in some ways, going places I would never go and doing things I would never get to do.
During those last few weeks, he would take my hand and thank me for visiting him. It was the closest he ever came to telling me that he loved me, but I know he did. I love him and will miss him. I know we will be together again someday, along with Mom and Pop and Fred.
From: Lennie McDonald
Relation: Dear friend of mine and my husbands.
Sure gonna miss you Uncle Tommy. Deepest sympathy to Sue and the families.
