Tania Lynn Temple

October 4, 1974 - September 5, 2020

Tribute

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mom, daughter, sister, auntie and friend Tania Temple on September 5, 2020.

When you remember Tania, be sure to celebrate the good times.  She taught us to love generously, care deeply and speak kindly.  Her laughter, smile and amazing strength will always be with us.

Tania leaves behind three children; Jessie, James and Jodi Johnson, mother Carol Temple, father Doug Temple, her big brother Kyle Temple, her little sister Leah Yonkman and her nieces and nephews;  Taylor and Michael (Leah), and Tre and Liam (Kyle).

We would like to thank everyone for your support and kind words during these difficult times.  She will be missed by all and never forgotten.  A kind soul, so loving and true.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tania’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association, East Kootenay Branch, 100 – 1000 21st Ave. N., Cranbrook, BC  V1C 5L9 or ANKORS, 209A 16th Ave. N., Cranbrook, BC  V1C 5S8.

There are no words to describe the shock and saddness Ed and I felt when we first heard of Tania’s passing. The world has lost a beautiful person, inside and out. Our hearts and prayers are with all the family.

I didn’t know Tania very well as she was a couple years older than me in school. However, I’ll never forget the time she stood up for me (a total stranger at that point) at a party in high school. I have a feeling she stood up for a lot of people when they were being treated unfairly, and that is a wonderful legacy to leave behind. My condolences to her family.

Relation: Carol & I worked at the Bay at the same time

Carol: Shocked to read of your loss of Tania…we’ve shard a lot of stories about our children and grandchildren over the past few years…..the good and the heart wrenching. Please know we’re thinking of you and your family at this sorrowful time.
