Sevena ("Venie") Ivy Webster (Ruault)

October 23, 1944 - March 12, 2022

Tribute

With great sadness, the family of Sevena “Venie” Ivy Webster announce her passing on the morning of Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years.   Venie was born on October 23, 1944 in Cranbrook, BC to Severe and Ivy Ruault.

Venie led a very full life here in Cranbrook.  She was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles starting in the late 60’s through to 2000.  She moved through all the chairs up to the Provincial President of the Ladies FOE in 1987-88.  Venie and Jim loved to travel with their family in their truck and trailer.  They spent 11 years in Apache Junction at Weavers Needle as a snowbird.  She also volunteered her time with Mental Health and did the Christmas Dinner for 19 years.  Venie was the proud grandmother of her four grandchildren; Adam, Miranda Webster and Benjamin, Mark Stein.

Venie had a wonderful life of Family and Travel.

Venie leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 58 years, Jim Webster; her son Tom (Sandy) Webster, and her daughter Ivy-Lynne (David) Stein.  She also leaves behind her four grandchildren; Adam, Miranda, Benjamin and Mark.  Venie also leaves one brother Bob (Barbara) Ruault and family in Alberta.  Venie was predeceased by her parents Severe and Ivy Ruault as well as her step dad Tom Bradford.

At Venie’s request, there will be no funeral service.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations for  Venie to the BC Cancer Society.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com
