Ronald Lewis Zuehlke

Tribute

Ronald Lewis Zuehlke passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Cranbrook at the age of 61 years.  Ron was born on February 14, 1953 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Otto and Ruby Zuehlke, the third of seven children.

Ron was employed as an automotive partsman at Denham Ford in Cranbrook.  He was also an associate member of the Royal CanadianLegion.

Ron leaves to mourn his passing many friends, nieces ,nephews and siblings.; Ken (Linda) of High River, Alta., Dave (Wendy) of Qualicum, BC, Edna Zuehlke of Parksville, BC, Terry (Dave) of Vulcan, Alta. and Laura (Dave) Nolan of Lomond, Alta.  He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Bob Brown of Parksville, BC.  Ron was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Ruby Zuehlke and his sister Marion Brown.

There will be a private family funeral service at a later date and a celebration of life to be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday January 3, 2015 at the Cranbrook Legion.  The family requests that no flowers be sent and would appreciate that  donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Okanagan/Kootenay Area Office, 4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC  V1Y 9M9 or to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #24, 803 Cranbrook St. N., Cranbrook, BC  V1C 3S2.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com
