Tribute

It is with deep regret, after a long, hard, courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy, Rob passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, June 2, 2012 with his loved ones at his side.

Rob spent most of his adult years in Cranbrook, BC. He was very athletic and played soccer on the men”s teams for many years. Rob was a happy-go-lucky person and always had a smile for everyone. He was well known for his years as the bartender in the old KOS Hotel (Cheers). As time went on and Robin became less physically active he really enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends.

Rob is survived by his wife, Delphine Sheppard, son Kenneth Trower, mother Vera Trower and sisters, April Searle-Bradley and Kim (Bryan) Beler. He also leaves his nephew, Gordon Beler and nieces Aimee Searle, Barbara Beler and Tina Lapointe. Rob was predeceased by his father Gordon Trower (1993), nephews Michael Beler )1996), Shea Searle (2000) and brothers Trent Lapointe (2001) and Lance Trower (2001).

A Memorial Service to remember Rob”s life will be held at Mark Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
