Tribute
Robert (Sam) D”Etcheverrey passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Sam was born in Comox on Vancouver Island, BC.
He is survived by his loving wife Lucie; sons Robbie (Jackie), Ryan (Tanya) and stepdaughers Jeannie, Jen and Julie. He also leaves behind his grandsons; Rylan, Tyson, Daxton, and Jasper as well as many extended family. Sam was predeceased by his parents Ruby and Robert; his sisters Ettare and Lela; brother Jean Andre and his brother-in-law Mike Cole.
Sam worked at BC Tel for 35 years and retired in 1999. He enjoyed golf, river boating, travelling and being an active member of the Elks Club.
At Sam”s request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Elks Club Hall on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
