Norman (Barry) Barrett Maloney

March 9, 1944 - December 20, 2019

Tribute

It’s with great sadness that the family of Norman Barrett (Barry) Maloney announce his sudden passing on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 75. Barry was born on March 9, 1944 in Nelson, BC to Norm and Lillian Maloney.

Barry grew up in Kimberley, working for SuperValu. He also spent many years working at the mines in Sparwood and Elkford.  Barry and Irma moved to Cranbrook in 2005 to enjoy their retirement.

Barry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Irma; his children Shaun (Nicole), Krista (Steve), Korri (Johan) and four grandchildren; Kayla, Sierra, Joshua and Emily. He was predeceased by his parents, Norm and Lillian and his brother, Neil.

Barry will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Following Barry’s wishes, there will be no service.
