With sadness, the family of Murray Dale Nightingale announce is passing on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 58 years after a brief illness.
Murray is survived by his mother; Peggy Nightingale; brothers Neil, Calvin, David, Edward (Bobby) and Tim (Michelle); and his sister Holly (Rob) Hubley. Murray leaves behind his daughter Cindy (Darcy) Kooznetsoff and grandchildren Hunter and Tanner. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister-in-law, Sandra Webber and many aunts. uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Murray was predeceased by his father Dennis and his brother Ron.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Murray”s life was held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Heritage Inn in Cranbrook. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 19 – 9th Ave. S., Cranbrook, BC V1C 2L9. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com.

Missing you dearly uncle Murr, I am sad that I wont get to hear your jokes, or have bacon and eggers with you anymore….or have that excitement we used to feel as kids when we would walk home after school and be surprised to see your truck in the driveway. Many memories with you, they be simple or short but the best, and many great memories floating around because you made so many people you loved smile. You will be missed each and every day. Although the sadness is there, I smile knwing that no longer are you suffering, lying alone in pain….wish I was closer to have visited you more while stuck in that bed, but its the past and I know you hated us seeing you in that state. You will be remembered as the great man you were, our uncle Murray, someone who gave without expectations, someone who never stayed long but made a lasting impression, someone in the thoughgts and hearts of many. Love you uncle, and love to all who knew what a wonderful person he was.

Our Condolences to the Nightingale Family:
Unfortunately that sad day has come, I personally have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Murray for many years. During coffee breaks and lunch hours Murray always shared with me his battle that he was fighting against the cancer that final took his life. Murray was one of our top employees he always was the first one to arrive on job site and the last guy to leave. Murray was a wonderful person and true friend.
