Margene Evelyn Bidder (Kahl)

May 6, 1941 - July 28, 2021

Tribute

Margene Evelyn (Kahl) Bidder was born on May 6, 1941 in Cranbrook, BC to Charles and Verna (Traverse) Kahl.

Some of you know her as “BOMBER”, the all-star pitcher for the “Marysville Go-Go Girls” and she was a long-time resident of Marysville.  Others know her as the blonde lady that lit up the links at many of the local golf courses.  Margene loved traveling to golf courses with her husband Fred and many friends.  Margene enjoyed camping, hunting and many other outdoor activities as well as her many pets.

Margene has left behind her son,  Scott (Karen) and daughter Launie (Len) as well as her two granddaughters, Hunter and Burke.  Her brother Carl Kahl also survives her.  Margene was predeceased by her husband Fred and sister-in-law Pat Kahl.  Margene had many brothers and sisters in-law as well as nieces and nephews.

Burial ceremonies will be a private family service in the Marysville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the East Kootenay SPCA, PO Box 2, Cranbrook, BC  V1C 4H6.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com.

Scott and Launie, your mom brought a lot of fun times in my life mostly on the golf course. I can still see us putting on golf visors upside down and singing the national anthem at the Redding Rose Bowl. I am so very sorry for your loss.
