Loving Wife, Mother, Sister,  Grandmother, Auntie, and Friend

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Lynda on January 11th, 2024 in Cranbrook, BC after a long a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis Disease.

Family and Friends were extremely important in Lynda’s life.

Often you would find Lynda humming to the radio puttering around the house either in the kitchen making dinners, baking, decorating her house for all occasions and she loved her flower and vegetables gardens. She lived with “No Regrets”

Lynda had a passion to travel she felt blessed to see more than than she could ever had imagined.  Starting In 2004 her first trip was a Cruise to Alaska Inside Passage.  It wasn’t long after that she got the travel bug and started planning many more destinations after – Hawaii, Caribbean, Mexico, Vegas, drove across Canada, and many more trips.

If you have ever traveled with Lynda then you know how particular she was with every detail in making the trip’s itineraries and keeping things organized

Lynda is survived by her loving and devoted Husband of 54 years Wayne Sopha, Son: Dale (Gaylene) Sopha, Daughter: Donna Euren, Grandsons: Randy (Anna) Euren, George (Alysha) Euren and Great Grand-Daughters: Karly & Kennedy.  Also surviving her are her Brother: Bruce (Darlene) Begley, Sisters: Barb (Pat) Padley & Brenda (Dave) Begley as well as several niece’s nephews and friends

She was predeceased by Brothers: Don & Gord Begley, Sister: Sandra Begley Smith and her Son in Law: Doug Euren

Special thanks for all the help, care & support Lynda received from family, friends, nurses, home support & BC Interior Health for helping care for Lynda.  It was truly appreciated!
