Tribute
On the morning of Sunday, August 3, 2025 Laura Rupp passed away peacefully at Joseph Creek Care Village, at the age of 89 years.
Laura was born on September 12, 1935 in Trail, British Columbia. She married Daniel Rupp on August 7, 1965 and they were blessed with four children.
Though she had many struggles throughout her life she always tried to keep a positive attitude and thought of others before herself. Her kids (and the neighbor kids) stopped at the house coming back from school to freshly made bread and cinnamon buns. This was one of the most memorable joys of childhood!
Left to mourn her passing are her children: Larry Rupp, Rick (Cathy) Rupp, Roger Rupp and Louella (Lee) Johnston. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Mary, Charlotte, Anthony, Danielle and Nelson as well as two great grandchildren; Lucas and Remi.
Laura is survived by two siblings: her brother, Robert Landucci and her sister Nola Landucci.
The family would like to thank Shauna Beaulac for being such a wonderful companion to our mom. Your endless caring and compassion made an enormous difference in her life and I know in the lives of so many others. We truly can’t say enough times how we appreciate you!
