Katharine ("Kathy") Ann Fredrikson (Hamilton)

January 3, 1956 - February 9, 2024

Tribute

On Friday, February 9, 2024 Kathy passed away at home after battling liver disease.  Kathy was born in Kimberley, BC to Francis and Zena (Van Oene) Hamilton.  Kathy and her husband Iver would have been married for 48 years in June.

Kathy leaves behind her beloved husband Iver, her pets Barney and Patches along with her sisters; Deb (Gary) McKay, Lorraine (Duncan) Campbel and her brothers Ken (Sue) Hamilton and Cliff (Cindy) Hamilton.  She is survived by her Uncle Bill Van Oene and Aunty Ellen VanOene as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Kathy is predeceased by her parents Frank and Zena Hamilton.

She enjoyed time with her family and friends, camping at Horseshoe Lake and in Yuma, Arizona playing cards and board games.

There will be no service at Kathy’s request.  In her honor, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Cranbrook SPCA
