It is with great sadness that the family of Karla Joy Vinge, born on March 5, 1967, announces her sudden passing on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Karla is survived by her parents Sheila and Joel sister Karin and brother-in-law, Ron and a host of loving cousins and good friends.
Karla completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Lethbridge in 1993 having a special interest in Neurosciences. During these last years of her life, she battled Mental Illness in the form of Bipolar Disorder. Karla endeavoured to protect family and friends from the struggles that she endured. She is now at peace, but is enormously missed by all who knew her. We love you and will always miss you Karla dear!
A Worship Service embracing family and friends will be held at Church Church Anglican on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm with The Reverend Doctor Yme Woensdregt officiating. Please consider donating to the BC SPCA to honour Karla's memory and love of animals.

Auntie Sheila and Uncle Joel. I am soo…sorry to hear about Karla. I really wish we had more time spent together when I came for visits with Suzy. It was only 5 or 6 weeks ago we talked and she was uplifting me. I only wish I had the chance to do the same for her. Please take some comfort knowing she is at peace now and with my mom and Suzy. I have been deeply saddened to hear of Karla’s. Although I had not seen her for many years, I think of her often and will always remember her beauty, wisdom, keen insight, humour, kindness, compassion, and enthusiasm. I am so sorry to hear of Karla’s passing. Have been remembering all the fun times we had, how Karla embraced me into our grade 12 class, when I was the nervous “new girl” who didn’t know anyone in a small town.
Had my own memorial for her last night, listening to all our old songs and like I said, remembering her kindness and sense of humour.
