Tribute
Born May 12th 1935, Judy passed away April 4th 2012 with Eddie, her
husband of more than 50 years, by her side. Judy started her career as
an X Ray technician in Kimberley where she met Eddie. After a brief
time in Calgary, Eddie and Judy moved to Fairmont to open Eddie’s
Fairmont Grocery, which served the community for many, many years.
Judy loved spending time with friends, family and her dogs. She will
be missed by many special friends and family members whose lives she
touched.
Her memorial service will be held at the Fairmont Hot Springs in May

From all of us we would like to send our condolences to Eddie and the family. You both have been very good friends with our family for years and Judy will be missed us as well as so many others.

Judy was my older sister-my only sister.
I admired her quiet, gentle nature and her quick and sparkly sense of humor.
I was in awe of her knitting skills. She used to make beautiful socks
for our father.
As a teenager, judy attended the Banff School for advanced French studies. She was gifted in that area. She never bragged about herself so perhaps people didn’t know this about her.
I will miss Judy very much. My world will be a poor place without her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Eddie.
