On the late evening hours of Thursday, July 21, 2022, Jeannette Marie Lavoie passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years. Jeannette was born on December 27, 1944 in Beaucanton, Quebec to Gerard and Aimee-Rose Lavoie.
Jeannette worked with the Alberta Government as an Auditor. She retired to the Kootenays but her biggest desire was to pursue her passion for golf. Jeannette loved to golf!! She also spent her time volunteering for different events and enjoyed that as well. Jeannette had many friends and she made friends very easily. She was a person people enjoyed being around.
Jeannette leaves behind her brothers Ghislain, Jean Yves, Marcel, Regent, and Yvon as well as her sisters; Raymonde, Diane and Guylaine. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother Gary,

Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer virtuellement Jeannette dans les dernières semaines quand elle était encore à la maison avec Regent. Malgré la douleur et la difficulté à parler, elle a pris le temps de jaser avec nous, de nous poser des questions et de partager des beaux mots. Nous comprenons le vide que les gens qui l’entourent peuvent ressentir. Regent et à ta famille, nos plus sincères condoléances
