Relation: Dear friend

Janusz was a brilliant diamond with a million facets of light reaching and touching many people at once simultaneously! He had a brilliant mind, a ready smile, a generous heart, and we feel so blessed to have been in his company in many places around the world. He introduced us to Poland and his efforts of raising consciousness throughout this beautiful country are felt by so many today. Sending waves of love to Urzsula and his family.

From: Alex Turta
Relation: Work colleague and friend

I met Janusz in 2010 while working with Alberta Research Council (ARC) in Calgary. Since then we have cooperated both within ARC and afterward, as consultants for the Upstream Oil Industry.
I have known Janusz as a very intelligent person and a brilliant scientist. He has been a high-quality professional; I have been always relying on his advice and his words. Until a few years ago we worked together in the development of a new in-situ combustion process for heavy oil production, a process called Toe-to-Heel Air Injection (THAI), for which he developed a very comprehensive simulation model.
I will always remember his optimism, his inexhaustible energy, and his joie-de-vivre spirit.
My wife and I will miss his smiling face and his incurable optimism. A model to follow!
Sending our love to his wife Urszula.

Adios Janusz, RIP
