Tribute
It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, nana and wife,
Jacalyn Cribb (nee Berger) on May 10, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cranbrook, BC, and raised in Wardner, Jackie grew up among her siblings. She met her
husband and love of her life, Sim in 1976. They were married in 1980 and had 2 beautiful
children together.
Nothing brought Jackie more joy than her 3 grandchildren. Nana loved watching them all play
together and always welcomed them for sleepovers that often resulted in dance parties and so
much happiness. She loved her people fiercely and was one of the strongest, hardest working
woman we knew.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Sim, Daughter Katie (Devin), son Shane
(Callie) and her 3 grandchildren Lane, Emma and Sadee; her sister Arlene(Jim), brother Randy
(Tracey) and numerous nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, and her sisters Kathy and Roberta, as well as
her mother and father-in-law.
We will be having a celebration of Jackie’s life at the Wardner Community hall on Saturday, May
17 th , 2025 at 1 pm. This will be an informal, open house style get together to share memories.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Angel Flight or Hope Air in Jackie’s honor.
