Tribute
In Loving Memory of Heather Ann Street
Heather was born on December 12, 1953 in Calgary, Alberta at the Holy Cross Hospital. She passed away on February 21, 2019 at the young age of 65 years old. She died of Hepatitis C and liver cancer and suffered for 18 months. She fought a hard fight for a long as she could but to no avail. The world has lost a beautiful lady who is now on a spiritual journey to heaven and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David Street and her son, Dion Livingstone as well as five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two sisters Pat Ward and Diane Dunn; brother Doug Livingstone and countless nieces and nephews. Heather was predeceased by her beloved son, Ronald Dean Livingstone, her parents; Don and Violet Livingstone and brother; Deryl Livingstone.
She and her husband David loved living in the Columbia Valley where they have resided for the past 10 years. Heather was a proud Metis woman who enjoyed the great outdoors and loved fishing with her son Dion every chance she could. Heather loved to make birch bark baskets, dream catchers and she loved bead work of all kinds. She really enjoyed teaching the young Native people how to do Native art work of many different things. She will be missed very much by anyone who ever had the chance to get to know her. Heather was a well-respected Native elder and was such a proud woman of the Native way of life. She was a kind and caring woman who enjoyed helping others whenever she could and is now in heaven with all her loved ones.
Heather is in our thoughts and prayers and will be in our hearts forever. You will be missed dearly. Rest In Peace, Heather . . . until we meet again. Love always from your friends and family – loving son Dion and loving husband of 42 years, David Street. May God rest your soul. AMEN
