Ernest ("Ernie") James Millar

Tribute
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ernie on September 24, 2025 in Kimberley, BC. Born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, the youngest of six siblings raised on a farm. Ernie served 35 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at various communities in Saskatchewan from 1962 to 1997.
Ernie married Carole Rosvold in 1970 and they raised two daughters, Dana and Dionne. He retired in 1997, married Donna Schneider and moved to Kimberley, BC.
Survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Dana (Jason) and Dionne (Ray), stepson, Rob (Megan) and four grandchildren Bron, Paige, Daphne and Hugo.
Ernie will be buried at RCMP Cemetery with Final Salute at Depot Division Chapel, Regina, Sk. June 27, 2026.
