Dianette Eveline Levesque (Robichaud)
August 25, 1929 - January 22, 2014
Tribute
Our mother, Dianette Eveline Levesque passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the age of 84 years. She was born on August 25, 1929 in Campbellton, New Brunswick to Alvina and John Robichaud.
One of Dianette’s greatest loves was music. She was the greatest entertainer and we enjoyed her music whether it be singing or playing the guitar, banjo or accordion. Mom also enjoyed her garden and harvested many wonderful foods from it. She was a caregiver for most of her life – to her husband and also to her daughter. She was always there when she was needed.
Dianette leaves to cherish her memory her four beloved daughters; Aline Levesque (Bob Moore), Jackie (Richard) LaFleur, Jeannine (John) Smart and Louise Thede. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Carl, Keith and Lise and five great grandchildren. Dianette was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Levesque and her parents, John and Alvina Robichaud.
Prayers and Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Mark Memorial Funeral Home, 2024 Industrial Road No. 2, Cranbrook. The Funeral Service in honour of Dianette will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11 am at Christ the Servant Catholic Church, Cranbrook. Memorial donations may be made in Dianette’s honour to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation c/o Mark Memorial Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com

My daughters my partner Faye Drennan and I and a I were saddened to hear of aunt “Deans” passing. As a kid I always remember her cheerful outlook and kindness to everyone. I have a memory of her and my Mom (Clotilde) target practicing with a .22 rifle from an upstairs bedroom window at her house in Kapuskasing. She was quite a good shot. The Robichaude women were, and still are, full of fun and all made of “The Right Stuff”. I’ll never forget her . Ray

Heaven has acquired another ANGEL – my wonderful Aunt Dianette, younger sister to my mother, Clotilde Boudreau.
At a very early age, Aunt Dean left a strong impression on me that instilled courage, intelligence and wisdom by her good example. Her upbeat and positive attitude taught me to live my life without fear and embrace change.
I take a moment to reflect and appreciate the incredible lineage of dynamic, independent and wise women that I am proud to call my heritage – the Robichaud Family.
Heartfelt condolences to my four beautiful cousins – Aline, Jackie, Jeannine and Louise. Take comfort in knowing that she will always be near you in spirit….call upon her when you need her guidance.
Live your lives in her honour and remember to practise all the good things that she taught you girls along the way.
Her warm and caring ways I am sure will be missed by all who knew her and loved her
