Tribute
Darlene Gail Boisvert passed away in Cranbrook, B.C. on Monday, January 17th, 2011. Darlene was born in Kimberley on February 16th, 1941.
Darlene worked for 8 years at the Royal Bank of Canada, starting her career in Cranbrook and moving on to Edmonton and Calgary.
Left with loving memories are her husband Lawrence (Pete) Boisvert. Also surviving her are her two children and their families; son Darren Larson, his wife Jodi and son Cory of Boston, MA., and her daughter Leanne, her partner Marcel and their two children, Avery James and Katie Nicole of Calgary, AB., and her two stepchildren; Darrell Boisvert, his wife Doreen and son Michael of Trail, B.C., and Daniel Boisvert of Kelowna, B.C.
She is also survived by her sister Delores Earl of Duncan, B.C. and her sister-in-law Myra Hummer of Invermere, B.C.
Darlene was predeceased her father Roy and mother Gladys, her brothers Merlin and Wayne and her sister Faye.
Darlene really enjoyed working on her computer and spent much of her time compiling a detailed book on her families’ genealogy. Friends and family will miss her warmth and her quirky sense of humour that stayed with her until the end.
At Darlene’s request there will be no memorial service.
