CAROLE MARIETTE FITKA-VELSINK passed away peacefully at the age of 51 years with family and friends by her side on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Carole was born in Montreal, Quebec on January 28, 1961.
Carole leaves to mourn her passing, her three daughters; Melanie (Darren), Stephanie and Ashley as well as six grandchildren; Taina (8), Foster (6), Taylor (4), Zander (3), Madelyn (3) and Eliza (2). Also surviving Carole are her two brothers; Daniel (Brigitte) and Mike (Leah) and three sisters; Johannes (Ted), Sylvie (Craig) and Suzanne (Shawn). Carole also leaves behind her mother; Francoise Johnston and step father Michel Roger. She was predeceased by her father Edward Fitka and step mother Denise Fitka.
Carole will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Carole”s Life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 12 noon at the Wycliffe Park. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Carole”s memory to the Canadian Red Cross, 42 – 6th Ave. S., Cranbrook, BC V1C 2H3. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com.
