Bruce R. Paton
1942–2026
Bruce R. Paton passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Edith, and his daughter, Teresa.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gwen; daughter, Keeann (Matthew); sons, Greg (Teryl) and Troy (Barbara); grandsons, Dale, Edwyn, Henry, and Erik; great-grandchildren, Liam and Lucy; and his brother, Ron (Sherry).
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses on the third floor of East Kootenay Regional Hospital, as well as the doctors at the Green Clinic, for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
