Anton ("Tony") Hoffman

On the evening of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, Anton Hoffman passed away at home at the age of 82 years surrounded by his beloved family. Tony was born in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan on February 4, 1943, one of the nine children born to Frances and Joseph Hoffman.
Tony’s working years were spent in the Forestry industry as a logger and a skidder operator. He also built bridges during his career. Tony loved his camping, fishing, gardening, yard work and the outdoors in general. He loved animals and music too. For sports he enjoyed hockey and baseball but most of all he loved his family.
Tony leaves behind his beloved wife Laura and his four children; Tony Gerolimetto (Shelley), Kathy Kappler, Angela Ferretti (Brent) and Char Cooper (Sean). Also left are Tony’s legacy, nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Tony is also survived by two brothers; Rudy (Linda) and Larry (Kathy). Tony was predeceased by his parents, Frances and Joseph Hoffman and his brothers and sisters; Frank, Jerry, Charlie, Robert, Elsie and Mary.
In honor of Tony’s memory, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, PO Box 2, Cranbrook, BC V1C 4H6.
