Tribute
The family of Alexander Drummond Pearson are sad to announce the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Alex passed away in Cranbrook on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 83 years.
Alex was born in Bowhill Cardenden Auchterderran, Scotland on April 20, 1928 to Alexander and Kate Pearson. He married Margaret “Peggy” Caroline Baumbach on March 15, 1958 and enjoyed all of their 53 years together.
Left to mourn Alex”s passing are his four daughters; Abbie (Andy) Balcom, Susan Pearson, Judy Pearson (Dallin), Tammi Schmuland and one son Jodie (Doris) Pearson. He also leaves his grandchildren; Amanda (Jeff) Arrowsmith, Carly Pearson, Brittany Dovell, Brent Dovell, Jeremy and Dayna Schmuland as well as his great grandchildren; Austin, Alex and Alvie. Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy on August 3, 2011 and two infant sons, Robert and David.
At Alex”s request, there will be no funeral service. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the local SPCA. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com.

Abbie, Susan, Jodie, Judy, and Tammi ~ it’s never easy to lose someone we love; but the death of a parent is particularly hard as we lose not only a loved one, but also a source of comfort, knowledge, and advice. You have suffered the loss of both your parents this summer, and we can only imagine how difficult this time is for all of you. However, remember that love can never be forgotten, and treasured memories can never be lost. In your memories, in your heart, your father (& mother) will always be with you.
