A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2 pm at the Fort Steele Cemetery.

I knew Martin for over 30 years and was privileged to own a custom Mannlicher Schoenauer done by him, as well as the only shotgun he ever made. I frequently visited him in his shop. Regardless of certain controversial beliefs he had, the fact is that we have lost one of the greatest and most innovative gunmakers the world has known in the past 60 years. Rest in peace old friend. I knew Martin for nearly 40 years and have a few rifles that he applied his magic to. I enjoyed my visits to his shop and was always in awe of his ability to create true masterpieces.He raised the bar for future practitioners of his profession. Rest well Martin.
